About Holly
Holly Hyman has performed in almost every major American city with Ailey II and has toured the world multiple times, with several music recording artists, including Missy Elliott, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, and Adam Lambert to name a few. She maintains membership in SAG-Aftra and ACTOR’s EQUITY. She received a diploma in dance from The Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington D.C. and a BFA from Fordham University and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York City.
Ms. Hyman has worked on and been featured in many television, film, and theater projects, with outstanding musical theater, film, television, music video, award show and commercial directors and choreographers including Debbie Allen, Louis Valdez, Joe Mantello, Wayne Cilento, Jamal Sims, Aakomon “AJ” Jones, Christopher Robinson, Hi Hat, Director X, Tovaris Wilson, Luam, Zach Woodlee, Fatima Robinson, Michael Rooney, Noam Murro, Alejandro Irranitu, and Adam Shankman.
Her professional experience, and love for arts education and training, has led her to teach at Broadway Dance Center in Tokyo, the Collage Dance Collective in Memphis, TN, the Ailey Experience 2020 Summer Virtual Workshop series, and the Jones-Haywood Dance School 2020 Virtual Intensive.
Ms. Hyman has also been a substitute teacher at The Edge Performing Arts Center in LA, Debbie Allen Dance Academy in LA and she is a resident teacher/choreographer for Rhapsody James’ annual Motivating Excellence program in LA.
